These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Exo, the school and institute management platform operated at exostudy.in and its subdomains (the “Service”). By registering an Institute, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the Institute you represent.
Exo provides a multi-tenant platform for managing academics, attendance, finance, communication, and related operations for schools and institutes. Each Institute that registers receives its own isolated workspace, typically accessible via a dedicated subdomain.
Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Razorpay; by subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's applicable terms for payment processing. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise. We may change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice.
You agree not to:
As between Exo and an Institute, the Institute retains ownership of the student, staff, academic, and financial records it enters into the Service. We process that data solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On request, we will provide a reasonable export of an Institute's data or assist with deletion, subject to any legal retention requirements.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Exo and its licensors. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's necessary to use the Service as intended.
Either party may stop using or offering the Service by ending an active subscription. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or conduct that risks harm to other Institutes or the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including data handling and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount paid by the Institute for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and, where appropriate, communicated to Institute administrators in advance of taking effect.
